Gutter Accessories

There are a number of factors which can impede your gutters from functioning efficiently and properly. In addition to industry standard manufacturing and

installation techniques, there are gutter accessories which are necessary in order

to maintain optimal operation of your gutters and keep them working efficiently.

The accessories you will need for your gutters are, of course, specific to the individual circumstances and environmental conditions relative to your particular business

or home. The professionals at DeMoss & GutterMan LLC would be happy to

conduct a free analysis and give you expert advice as to what additional

accessories you will need to protect your investment.

Below, you will find a short list of just some of the gutter accessories we can

provide in order to ensure your gutters continue to operate properly.

Gutter Bird Cage

Bird cages

are made from diamond shaped expanded metal. They are made in different sizes to fit standard size 2×3 rectangular, 2×3 oval or

3″ round downspout outlets. The diamond shaped mesh holes provide an ideal filter

for large leafy debris that can clog typical residential gutter systems. Strainers also provide debris protection for underground drainage systems. What makes this version versatile is that the expanded metal can be manually shaped to match the outlet profile – no matter whether it’s a 2×3 square,

2×3 oval, or 3″ plain round outlet.

Leaf Traps

are funnel shaped metal devices that are placed towards the bottom of your downspouts. The leaf trap will collect any leaves and debris that make their way through the gutters and into the downspouts. The debris will fall over the mesh and the water from the rain will

drain right through it.

Rain Chains

provide an attractive alternative to a downspout. Their purpose is largely decorative. They make a water feature

out of the transport of rainwater from the guttering downwards to a drain or storage container. Rain chains are typically either a series of metal cups with a hole in the bottom of each, linked together by a chain, or they can be simply links of chain that

span vertically downward from the gutter outlet. Rain water run-off flows from a rootop gutter down through the rain chain.
